Story adventure DLC for Starfield
Starfield - Shattered Space is a premium game utility developed by developer Bethesda Game Studios. It is a DLC pack for the popular sci-fi RPG Starfield. It introduces a new story expansion to the base experience wherein players will go on a new journey to a broken-down space station to investigate a mysterious distress signal.
Building upon the core Starfield gameplay, this Starfield - Shattered Space DLC provides players with something new to experience and another sector of space to explore. It also brings a variety of additional weapons and gear to help them face the challenges ahead.
A new space adventure
Bethesda Studios is one of the most heralded developers in the gaming industry and is responsible for the cult classic The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Special Edition. Enter the Starfield game, its biggest endeavor in over two decades, and it is a grand space action adventure across multiple planets. The Starfield - Shattered Space DLC adds another one to that list along with a new storyline.
The expansion takes place in the city of Dazra located in the hidden homeworld of the House of Va'Ruun. You will respond to a mysterious distress call from the region from a derelict space station. Navigate a highly religious and political landscape as you come to know of a cosmic anomaly that poses a threat to the balance of space and time.
Meet and interact with multiple factions along the way, each with their own hidden agenda driving their actions and decisions. Not to mention, the various new weapons, armor, and gear to utilize as you face all kinds of enemies. Now, while it's great that there's more content for the game, the experience itself is rather short. Expect around five hours of additional gameplay.
Great but short
All in all, Starfield - Shattered Space comes as great news for fans of the base game who are looking for some additional content to experience. It boasts a new intriguing story, more action, and generally more reasons to jump back in and get lost in adventure. The gameplay is not that long, but it's still more Starfield, and that is never a bad thing.
